Advance Bravely

Advance Bravely (Chinese) - Yuan Zong & Xia Yao This was an excellent drama to watch, even though only the first season is out. I actually finished watching it last weekend but I have been reading the translated chapters (there's two hundred-plus and only ninety are done) for the past week. I like that some things were changed such as the characters. In the book, just about everybody smoked. In the show, no one smokes which I like. I like Yuan Zong and Xia Yao's chemistry because it keeps me guessing as to if Xia Yao is starting to fall in love with Yuan Zong in this scene or that scene. The same thing with Yuan Zong. Also, with how a certain scene between them ends, it makes me wonder if they kiss or just look passionately into each other's eyes. I do have to say that my favorite scenes are with them together. They could be talking about the weather or staring into each other's eyes while twenty people are around them and I would still think, “...

Matching! Boys Archery

Matching! Boys Archery (Korean) It has been some time since I last watched a drama, and I must say that I enjoyed it even though it only had eight episodes and approximately fifteen to twenty minutes long. That is because it is a web drama. I discovered it by watching fanmade videos to which I knew I had to find out the story behind these videos. I found Hong Shi Ah to have quite an imagination which was funny. First, when she opened a drawer in her apartment which had boys love books in it, I had to go back because I thought my eyes were deceiving me since most of South Korea rejects the idea of two men or women being together (although people are slowly changing their minds). Turns out I did see what I thought I saw. Which is okay. It was funny that whenever she saw two of the team members doing something such as tripping or relaxing against each other, there goes her mind, imagining what would happen in her web comic. Her favorite people are Seung Joon and Ji...

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (Korean) - Wang So & Hae Soo/Ha Jin I admit I skimmed through this because I was only looking for scenes with Wang So and Hae Soo (but that does not mean I completely disregarded everything else). I found it adorable that the “big bad wolf” is actually just a dog who wants to be loved. And that is what Wang So, the fourth prince, wanted. He wanted to be accepted by his family and the people of the palace and town, regardless of his scar he received when he was a child and that he killed to save the people he loved. Hae Soo was one of the first to accept him. She was not afraid of him or anything when she saw his scar. And I think that that is one of the reasons why he fell in love with her. It is sad that basically everyone else accepted him when his scar was covered up with makeup Hae Soo made for him. And poor Ha Jin. She drowned and woke up in the 900's. She had to live her life as Hae Soo. And in being herself (Ha Jin), al...
