Angel's Last Mission: Love
Angel's Last Mission: Love (Korean) - Dan & Yeon Seo
As always, this was a good show.
There were times I wanted to cry and times I was not happy. And I
thought the story line was good.
I liked Yeon Seo's character arc. At
the beginning, she only cared about herself and talked down to those
around her. By the end, she cared about others and was willing to put
her life on the line so the man she loved can live. I understand that
going blind changed her for the worst but that did not mean she
should degrade everyone. So, who she ends up being was very good for
her.
I also liked Dan's character. First,
he was someone who was kind of goofing around while doing his job.
Then, he was disobeying a lot of orders to save the woman he loved. I
was nervous of the outcome of him doing so but I understood why he
was doing that.
One thing that made me more nervous,
if not scared, than his disobeying orders was when he threatened to
kill Ru Na, Yeon Seo's cousin, if she would not leave Yeon Seo alone.
I could not believe he said that since he was an angel and that is a
huge sin. I am not sure if this was is actually imagery that the
creators came up but I liked when he was wearing all black at one
point. To me, him wearing light colors (including various shades of
blue) in most of the episodes was him being a nice person, obeying
orders (to some degree), and him being a good angel. When he wears
black while trailing Ru Na and on the verge of actually killing her,
he was a fallen angel. That is what I think when I see his outfit
colors.
Another thing was when Dan and then
Yeon Seo were at the church altar, telling God what they were going
to do to save the other. I liked how their individual scenes were put
together. Him saying that he would kill to save Yeon Seo from being
killed and her saying she would give anything for him to live as a
human before taking pills out of her bag.
There were times I thought the
feather on Dan's handkerchief would turn black but stayed blue. That
was especially true when he disappeared while Yeon Seo was in the
hospital. I was shocked when, at the end, he met up with her at their
bench and his handkerchief disappeared. I was so happy because they
finally ended up together. I would like to think God let Dan
become human because their love was so powerful and continued even
though he was not visible to anyone else except her.
All in all, this was good. I would
recommend it.
