Cinderella with Four Knights

Cinderella with Four Knights (Korean) - Ha Won & Ji Woon

Originally, I did not watch this show, skipping past it whenever I was looking for something to watch. A few days, ago, I saw it on Netflix and watched the short clip they showed when it's on a show for a period of time. I saw the clip and figured, "I will just check it out. I highly doubt I am going to like it." Suffice to say, I was wrong.

I enjoyed how hard Ha Won tried to accomplish the tasks given to her by the grandfather. It showed how hard she would work while living with the upper class rather than having to try to skate by in life. These tasks led me to enjoying the interactions between her and the Kang cousins more and more.

As the show progressed, I saw Ji Woon slowly change because of Ha Won. Obviously not because of any feelings that would develop but because she was honest, trying to make the guys get along, and also because she cared about each of them.

I think the thing I enjoyed most, in a weird way, is Ji Woon unravelling the story of his parents. Not just his parents, but also how Ha Won and her mom ended up being part of that several years earlier. What I found sad was Ha Won basically being told by the grandfather to leave the house and never come back because she was dating Ji Woon. It was even sadder to see their story being exactly like his parents' story. Thankfully, at the end, the two of them were able to start dating again.

At the beginning, I hated Hyun Min because he was a player. I am happy that as the show went on, I got to see more and more as to why he was the way he was. It was sad to see he blamed himself for something he did not cause. I think he was too young or too scared to comprehend the situation. Or somewhere along those lines. I am glad he was able to confess to Hye Ji, the girl he has loved for years, about that day and that he would protect her.

I loved Seo Woo. He was like the younger brother who wanted nothing to do with the family when it came to his music. That was his priority. I am glad that he changed, I think quickly, when it came to them because of Ha Won. And I think he was the easiest one to change.

At the end of the day, I am glad I watched this, even if it took me years to stop skipping over it. I think I will continue to watch this show.
