Hotel Del Luna

Hotel Del Luna (Korean) - Chan Sung & Man Wol   I liked this show. It reminded me a little of Master's Sun in the first episode or two. I liked the relationship that grew between Chan Sung and those in the hotel. Especially from when they tried to get rid of him but he turned around and basically told them he was not going anywhere to when they all started caring for each other. Even up to the very end where they were telling each other goodbye before leaving. There were a few instances where I was scared for Chan Sung's life. One of which was when he was told about a “special” guest the hotel had. To hear that he would go crazy when he sees the guest, I was not happy. That was towards the beginning when everyone was trying to get rid of him because that would mean the hotel would close down. Another was when he collapsed after hugging an image of his friend's younger self when Man Wol was messing with the friend's memories. I was sad that Man Wol ...

Love Around

Love Around (Taiwanese) - Zhe Xuan & Ying Ying I did like this show, not as much as several others and better than others. I liked that there were two very different families that ended up coming together in the end in a positive light rather than the negative one that had been plaguing both for years. I originally started watching to see how Zhou Zhen and Xiao Shu ended up getting together but that changed about halfway through. I did like that he did things for her before they even became friends. It was funny that he won a baseball contest for her just so that she would leave him alone after that. I also did like that he secretly helped her when things were bad for the radio station. Even though it was sad that he broke up with her, I liked that he took her feelings into consideration when he found out how her brother was killed. I was also happy that they eventually got married. But, like I said, I only started watching for the two of them and that stopped at...

Bring It On, Ghost

Bring It On, Ghost (Korean) - Bong Pal & Hyun Ji I enjoyed this show a lot even though there were times I found a couple of characters to be annoying or ridiculous. Though I do have to say that those two were funny at one point or another. With Bong Pal and Hyun Ji, I loved everything about them. Speaking on just the dynamics of their teamwork while hunting, I saw that they could trust one another when it came to watching each other's backs. Also, when Hyun Ji said where the ghost's weak spot was, Bong Pal that she was telling the truth. Speaking about their relationship, it was a roller coaster once they started developing feelings for one another. Specifically when she was a ghost. After they started dating, it was sad to see her have flashbacks of one of their dates because she witnessed people looking at him like he was crazy talking to air since they could not see her. It was also sad that she broke up with him after listening to the monk. I was happy to ...

HIStory 3: Trapped

HIStory 3: Trapped (Taiwanese) - Tang Yi & Shao Fei I tried watching this a few months ago after reading the synopsis or seeing the trailer. After watching the first two of episodes, I ended up pushing it off to the side, never returning to it until a couple of days ago. I truly wanted to watch it but I think it had a slow beginning, at least in my opinion at that time. This time I made myself sit down and watch the whole show from beginning to end. Okay, so maybe I did not watch the whole thing. I do admit I skipped the parts that had Shao Fei's coworker and Tang Yi's employee getting into a relationship, but I did watch the rest of the show. I loved the development of Tang Yi and Shao Fei's relationship. I like that it started out with Shao Fei practically tailing Tang Yi to get information of what had happened four years ago and then they were developing feelings for each other. I liked that Tang Yi was trying to stop his group's mob business ...

Theory of Love

Theory of Love (Thai) - Khai & Third It has been a while since I have watched a show but I had to see this one. I wanted to watch it since the trailer aired but I kept forgetting about it until it hit me over the weekend that I had yet to watch it. I liked that some of the episodes titles were in reference to movies such as 10 Things I Hate AboutYou , The Proposal , and Crazy, Stupid, Love . And each movie was incorporated into the episode in one way or another. An example is just like the female lead in 10Things , Third started making a list of things he hated about Khai. During the last episode, one thing I realized (whether it was intentional or not for the show) was that the first several episodes were focused on Third trying to get over Khai and the last few were focused on Khai falling in love with Third. One thing I thought was fair was when Khai was falling in love, saw Third with Un at the movie theater, and ended up being upset. I thought that because of...

Love by Chance

Love By Chance (Thai) - Ae & Pete, Tin & Can   I never remember how I come across some of these shows but I am happy I found this one. I practically fell in love with it from the beginning. I liked watching Ae and Pete's relationship develop because Ae is a very caring guy to his friends and those who feel they are weak and Pete is a very trusting guy. I liked that Ae would always protect Pete whenever he was bullied by the guy Pete liked. And I also liked that Ae would get upset when Pete was hurt either physically or emotionally. I did enjoy watching them, but they started to take a back seat around the sixth episode when Tin and Can started to make more appearances. Now, Tin and Can, I have no words for them because their relationship was very complicated. At least, it was in my opinion. And I enjoyed watching how their relationship developed, even from the very moment they started getting into fights whether it was physically or verbally. When they first tal...

HIStory 2: Crossing the Line

Image
HIStory 2: Crossing the Line (Taiwanese) - Zi Xuan & Yu Hao I really liked this show. Even though it only had several episodes. I like how Zi Xuan and Yu Hao's relationship developed through the episodes. It started as being disrepectful (on Yu Hao's part) and distant (on Zi Xuan's part) to full of nothing of respect and love. I liked that, at the beginning, Zi Xuan's friend kept annoying Yu Hao by trying to get him to join the volleyball team. And it ended with Yu Hao's teacher threatening his grade if he did not join. I also liked that he was so confident about stopping Zi Xuan's serves so he would not have to join the practice at all but ended up failing. I wanted to tell Yu Hao after that to never be confident about something in sports you have never played because you are most likely going to fail. It was nice to see him treat Zi Xuan differently after that, especially when he found out Zi Xuan had an injury that caused him to stop...
