My Girlfriend is a Gumiho (Korean) - Dae Woong & Mi Ho
This was a hilarious and sad show. I don't remember any specific moments in which I laughed out loud, but I did so often. Pause to look for a picture. Oh! I just remembered a moment from one of the last two episodes, but I don't remember anything else except this one moment because I am looking for a picture.
So, anyway, Byung Soo and Sun Nyeo, two of Dae Woong's friends, are having lunch or something when they are interrupted by Hye In, someone Dae Woong liked. She gives them the invitation to Mi Ho and Dong Joo's wedding to give to Dae Woong. They ask why Mi Ho and Dong Joo are getting married and Hye In says that it is a reason that they would not be able to guess. After she leaves, Byung Soo begins to think about movie ideas about Dae Woong and Mi Ho after Sun Nyeo talks about Dae Woong, a movie, and the wedding hall.
The first one that is thought of is Dae Woong stopping the wedding between Mi Ho and Dong Joo. He grabs her and starts to pull her out of the wedding hall before the scene is paused. Sun Nyeo then says that it is a reason that they cannot guess.
The next idea is Dae Woong rushing into the hall, grabbing Dong Joo's hand, and rushing out of the hall before the scene is paused. Byung Soo says that Dae Woong is not like that and then they move onto the third.
This idea is of Dae Woong coming into the hall and saying that the three of them are siblings. Dong Joo and Mi Ho are shocked and Dae Woong puts his arms around the both of them and their foreheads together. They turn around and Dae Woong says that they need to get revenge for their parents. Then Byung Soo is slapped upside the head by Sun Nyeo. After I saw Dae Woong go up to Mi Ho during the wedding, I was just waiting for the idea to come up that Dae Woong was gay. When it did, I laughed. That whole film idea was hilarious.
One scene that scared the crap out of me was when Mi Ho was going after Hye In because the bead was ruined after Hye In kissed Dae Woong.
Mi Ho just became evil. She wanted to kill Hye In. Which is understandable. Mi Ho can't control herself when her gumiho nature slips out. Dae Woong comes in to save Hye In by trying to stop Mi Ho. He gets hit with a prop when he first appears on the scene. When he goes up to Mi Ho and tells her to stop, she shoves him aside, pushing him into more props. Once again, this scene was scary.
Now for a sad portion. Mi Ho has one tail left and she stays by Dae Woong's side. They are in the gym area of the building they are staying at. This is where he first found out who she is. When the last seconds of her life are ending, she covers his eyes because she doesn't want him to see her die. She also says for him to believe that everything that happened between them since they first met was nothing but a dream. Both of them are crying. After she dies and he opens his eyes, she is gone, and he cries even more. This was so sad, I had tears in my eyes.
Now for a happy thing. I am so glad that she came back in the end. It was sad when everyone was treading lightly around him because one tiny word like meat would make the entire room gasp, the elderly die, women faint, and children cry. This is because such a simple word would make Dae Woong remember that Mi Ho was gone. Though he appeared fine on the outside, he was still heartbroken, even if it was probably two years later. After a solar eclipse occurred, Mi Ho appeared because the heavens were in chaos. That night, Dae Woong found out that Mi Ho had one tail left. And then, happily ever after. I quite enjoyed this show.
